Course overview

Voice remains a core service with strict quality expectations. This program covers IMS in depth and the end-to-end behaviour of VoLTE and VoNR including RAN dependencies, so engineers can design, integrate and troubleshoot voice services.

Who should attend

  • Core and IMS engineers
  • Voice quality and optimisation engineers
  • Integration and test teams

Prerequisites

  • EPC or 5GC knowledge
  • Basic SIP familiarity helpful

Learning objectives

  1. 1Describe IMS architecture and functions (P/I/S-CSCF, HSS/UDM, TAS, MRF, SBC)
  2. 2Trace IMS registration and call setup
  3. 3Explain VoNR, EPS fallback and RAT fallback decisions
  4. 4Troubleshoot voice issues with SIP and RAN traces

Frequently asked questions

Live online programs are delivered in real time by an instructor over video with shared labs and interactive Q&A. Classroom programs are delivered face to face in Dubai or other GCC locations, with the instructor and lab environment in the room. Both use the same curricula and instructors.

Programs are built on 3GPP, O-RAN and industry standards and are vendor-agnostic by default. Corporate deliveries can include vendor-specific parameter mapping and scenarios where required.

Participants who complete a program receive a Teleriu certificate of completion. Teleriu programs are professional technical training and are not affiliated with any certification body unless explicitly stated.
